Trouble with rocky linux 9 setting up geforce RTX3060 ti to run

Attached is the bug report log

I recently started using a dualboot of windows and linux for VFX work. Setting up the graphics card has been the hardest part. I need to get my graphics card (RTX 3060 ti) to work properly with rocky linux 9 as thats what the program I’m using has the most support for (Nuke)

When attempting to install the driver with

sudo dnf module install nvidia-driver:open-dkms

the gui of the computer gets completly changed, which reverting it fixes that, but not the ability for the graphics card to run

sudo dnf module install nvidia-driver:latest-dkms

works after restarting a few times that I can see the icon of the driver application, but when I attempt to run it

nvidia-smi

“NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn’t communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.”

I’ve tried blacklisting nouveau and bringing it back, completely removing and reinstalling just about everything on my computer. I’ve read as much documentation as I could understand, and I’m at a loss. I really don’t know much about the workings of linux so any help would be greatly appreciated.

You have secure boot enabled so you will either have to install a signed module or disable secure boot in bios.

I disabled secure boot, attached is the updated log.

I am still getting the same feedback from attempting to run the application for the driver

You have installed the 470 legacy driver which fails to compile. Please upgrade to driver 535/550/555
