Trying to install sdkmanager2.1.0-12021

I am attempting to install sdk manager 2.2.0-12021 version to be used in installing an image to my target Jetson nanoB01 development kit.

Going thru the instructions after successfully performed the down load and installation of above SDK manager version, I attempted to perform a docker load an my host computer running ubuntu 18.04

magic@magic-OptiPlex-5250-AIO:~/Downloads$ docker load -i ./sdkmanager-2.2.0.12021-Ubuntu_18.04_docker.tar.gz
permission denied while trying to connect to the Docker daemon socket at unix:///var/run/docker.sock: Post “http://%2Fvar%2Frun%2Fdocker.sock/v1.24/images/load?quiet=0”: dial unix /var/run/docker.sock: connect: permission denied

Can you assist me in moving past this problem??

What happens if you try running the command with sudo?
