TTY redirected to Intel GPU card instead of Nvidia Card

Problem:
After successful Manual Installation of Nvidia 340.65 I realized that TTY screens turn blank using CTRL+ALT+F* on Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS

Temporary Solution:

I have plugged in hdmi cable to the IGD (intel) and redirected output to a different monitor. This works.

Permanent Solution?
So the question is how can I get the Nvidia Card to work with TTY?
