TX1 debug uart output always Garbled

Hi:

I want to watch the debug uart console output, that’s uart0 on TX1.

On TX1 carrier board, I make wiring as following:
J21 Header Pin 8( UART TXD) ----> Cable RXD
J21 Header Pin 10( UART TXD)----> Cable TXD
J21 Header Pin 9( GND)----> Cable GND

and plug USB connector into host machine, while the cable is MOXA UPort 1150,
Serial debugging assistant is set as 115200n8,
But the console output was always garbled as following:

Is there something wrong with my settings or anythings else go wrong?

Maybe the problem is related to flow control.
Since you only have RX/TX lines, you should use SW or no flow control. HW flow control wouldn’t work.
Check also speed and parity: serial port should frame 115200 8 N 1

Very often (not always) garbled output is from mismatched speed. Sometimes it is from the cable being long or low quality (adding the CTS/RTS lines and using this for flow control can greatly improve data quality in cases where data is marginal). What is your physical cabling description, and are there any other modifications to the Jetson?
