TX1 Mini PCI-e port

The TK1 dev board has Mini PCI-e slot built in. The TX1 says it can support PCI-e, but appears to not have a slot for cards to directly plug in. How is a mini-PCIe card supposed to be plugged into the TX1?

You will need an adapter to install a mini pcie card into the 4x pcie slot.

That’s the black slot to the right of the capacitor.

If you want to move away from the dev board and start prototyping on something that already has mini pcie and is ready to be deployed in an industrial setting, check out the Astro from Connect Tech

Yeah I realized the board only has a full size PCI-e slot. That carrier board might be an option, but really I think we only need an adapter so we can plug the mini-PCIe card we have into the full-size slot. Are you are aware of a good adapter? This one is about the only one I can find: [url]StarTech.com PCI Express to Mini PCI Express Card Adapter (PEX2MPEX) - Newegg.com

That adapter seems like it would work.
