TX1/TX2 jetson PCIe x4 connect graphic card

Hi,

Is it possible to connect a external graphic card by TX1/TX2 jetson PCIe x4?
(I have read this thread but still have some questions.

If yes, what kind of driver do I need except graphic card driver?
Should I modify PCIe driver for output video?
Any advice and suggestions will be greatly appreciated and welcomed.

Hi yenchao,

The discrete NVIDIA GPU card does not support on Jetson platform.
What’s the use case you want to implement for external graphic card on the output video?

Hi kayccc,

If we install Nouveau driver for nvidia graphic card,
is it possible to output video from the discrete graphic card?
Do we have to modify pcie driver?
