Hi, i would like to add a USB Type C connector to my system.
using the USB 3.0 port and USB0 2.0 for this.

does the TX1 has the Type-C port manager capabilities ?

this information is needed for choosing the right type-c power management ic as
TUSB422 data sheet, product information and support | TI.com

Hi, TX1 only support USB3.0 not USB3.1, if you have no need USB3.1, then it will be OK. Type-C port control is by external ic not by TX1, so can you be more specific about what the meaning of “does the TX1 has the Type-C port manager capabilities” is?
