I need to manipulate the WiFi module on the TX1 for various reasons. One thing I need to do is put it into test mode for antenna characterization. The Broadcom BCM4354 chipset has been sold to Cypress, and is now known as the CYW4354. I’ve gone to both Broadcom and Cypress for this information, with no success. Cypress has a document that describes a WLAN Client Utility that can do this, but they don’t release source code. They claim that I should be able to get a copy of this utility from the module vendor. In this case, nVidia. So, nVidia: Where can I get the WLAN Client Utility for the WiFi chip built-in to the TX1? Anyone?
Regarding “Where can I get the WLAN Client Utility for the WiFi chip built-in to the TX1?”, are you asking the
WLAN signal strength control script file?
Customer cannot change the wireless settings on the module as it is pre-certified. If you are using a different antenna, then you are responsible for verifying that the antenna gain is lower than the spec provided in our compliance guide.
