TX2 download and boot up failure

Hi,
We bought several TX2 modules (Serial Number is 699-83310-1000-D02) from local agent…we got some issues during system downloading and booting up:

  1. TX2 module (D00) + offical dev board: download and boot up successfully;
  2. TX2 module (D02) + offical dev board: download and boot up successfully;
  3. TX2 module (D00) + custom board: download failed but boot up successfully;
  4. TX2 module (D02) + custom board: download failed and boot up failed;
    The error messages of booting up is :
[0001.884] C> MTS error (2) : dram alias check failure
[0001.889] C> cpu waypoint 0.5 failed
[0001.893] C> ERROR: Highest Layer Module = 0x32, Lowest Layer Module = 0x32,
Aux Info = 0x1, Reason = 0x6

Is not our custom board compatible with TX2 modules (D00 and D02) well?

Sorry, the correct issues as follows:

  1. TX2 module (D00) + offical dev board: download and boot up successfully;
  2. TX2 module (D02) + offical dev board: download and boot up successfully;
  3. TX2 module (D00) + custom board: download and boot up successfully;
  4. TX2 module (D02) + custom board: download failed and boot up failed;

The D02 module is different from the D00 module due to the PCN announcement.

Thus, by default only rel-28.4 and release >= rel-32.4.3 are able to flash it. Are you using the release in these category and didn’t customized the bootloader?

Yes, we use NVIDIA SDK Manager 1.6 to download Jetpack 4.5.1 and flash tx2 without any modification…

Maybe need to review the custom board design.

Sounds not a software issue.

Ok, we are communicating local agent to solve this issues…Thank you!
