Tx2 DSI display blank powerdown!

Hi,
My custom tx2 carrier board connects to DSI port display panel with 4 lanes, I modified device tree and driver refer to display plugin…
It seems no any problem when system start up, but did not display any pattern, kernel log shows “blank, powerdown”,
How to detect this issue?
my kernel log is as followed:
session.log (86.6 KB)

Please check the power sequence of the panel driver, and the mode for the panel driver.

There is no guide for this. Just track the code by yourself. There is no standard rule for each panel. You have to follow the spec from each vendor.

Also, please make sure the HDMI is disabled in your device tree.

Is the the right way to enable dsi and disable hdmi?

host1x {
		nvdisplay@15200000 {
			status = "okay";
			nvidia,fb-win = <0>;
			nvidia,dc-or-node = "/host1x/dsi";
		};
		nvdisplay@15210000 {
			status = "disabled";
		};
		nvdisplay@15220000 {
			status = "disabled";
		};
		sor {
			status = "disabled";
		};
		sor1 {
			status = "disabled";
		};
		dsi {
			status = "okay";
			nvidia,active-panel = <&panel_s_wuxga_8_0>;
			panel-s-wuxga-8-0 {
				status = "okay";
			};
		};
	};

Yes, looks like HDMI is disabled.

Dose tx2 DSI controller support reading register value of display panel?
like writing register value to panle register…

<TEGRA_DSI_PACKET_CMD DSI_DCS_WRITE_1_PARAM 0xE0 0x00 0x00>,

please refer to the TX2 TRM document.
