I have a 4G modem connected to a TX2 (on ttyTHS2). I can connect with puTTY and PPPD, but not WvDial. wvdialconf ignored all “ttyTHSx” ports. Does anyone know how to configure wvdialconf to try ttyTHS2. Thanks
“wvdial” is certainly an old “blast from the past”. What settings are used for the modem?
Also, make sure your user is a member of group “dialout” (examine “/etc/group” if needed…search for “dialout”, and find out if your user’s name is associated with this if you are not running as root).
