Hi There,
I have been consulting past forum posts and the OEM developers guide redarding auto-power-on of the TX2i. It apopears that there might be something missing.
For the TX2i the OEM design guide says to leave the PWR_BTN pin floating - so that the internal pullup can ensure that the pin is pulled high. Howwever the PWR_BTN pin is active low with a button anyway - so how is an auto-power-on configuration detected any differently from a power button that has not been pressed?
With PWR_BTN left floating (and pulled up internally) figures 3 and 4 in the OEM design guide are presumably identical up until timestep 3. In figure 3 startup is delayed until the active low button is pressed, which is not required for the figure 4 case. So what is happening in Figure 4 between timestep 3 and 4 to tell the TX2i to startup that is not happening in the same timestep in figure 3?
Thanks,
David
