TX2I USB 3.0 Type-A connector on the Jetson TX2i USB 3.0 root hub is not functioning

I have a custom board based on the Jetson TX2i, with the reference design derived from the Jetson TX2i EVB kit

Below mentioned sections have been removed my custom board.

  1. M2 Key E
  2. SD Card Socket
  3. SATA Connector
  4. HDMI Connector
  5. Display Connector.

These are my custom board schematics

Jestson Carrier _TX2i_Power_Board_Rev 2.0-SCH.pdf (3.6 MB)

The USB 3.0 port has a Type-A connector, and the USB 3.0 root hub is enabled by the system-on-module (SoM). However, when I connect a USB 3.0 supported pedrive , it is not detected.

I followed the forum link to troubleshoot USB 3.0 bus detection using a USB 3.0 supported pendrive.

Could you please verify if the removal of any of the above sections could affect the detection of USB 3.0 devices on the bus?

Hi,
Please do compliance test to the custom carrier board to ensure the signal quality is good:

Hi Danell,

Thanks for your reply.

We will check and provide an update.

Please let me know if there are any dependencies in other sections for detecting USB 3.0.
