Ubuntu 14.04 or 16.04 for PX2 development?

At least one forum blog says 16.04 does not work to develop and flash PX2 images. And, that we should use 14.04.

Nvidia docs say both 14.04 and 16.04 are fine.

Would someone from Nvidia team definitively say which, or both, are blessed by Nvidia?
