Ubuntu 22.04 unestable / freezes after installing drivers for RTX 4050 Max-Q

  • GPU model: (RTX 4050 Max-Q).
  • Driver version: tried all of them (nvidia-driver-550, 545, 535, 520)
  • Kernel version: 6.8.0-52-generic
  • Ubuntu version: 22.04 LTS

OS behaves unstable. OS freezes before or sometimes after OS log in. Sometimes the OS lets me log in and freezes during normal OS operation. I managed to have the gpu working sometimes with 535 drivers but next day when restarting freezing problems show up again.

I tried to disable nouveau driver, disable wayland. Any other idea?
