Ubuntu + GUIslice for GUI

Nvidia Jetpack uses a very bloated Ubuntu distribution with loads of unnecessary packages, and this generally will affect performance and occupies loads of space on the OS file system.

My Question to the board is, is there any way we can remove all graphics, and other applications to have a slim OS, like a headless, so minimalistic graphical libraries such GUIslice be used instead of the X server.

This is key for our product development, as our robot will have a screen for user input, and having a small footprint GUI will help the overall performance of our robotics application

By default Ubuntu desktop is included in rootfs. If you don’t need it, yo would need to customize rootfs. May refer to:
