Hi,

This is a quick query regarding OS support for drive os 5.2.6 and drive software 10.

Whether drive os 5.2.6 and drive software 10 are supported in ubuntu 20.04?
if supported whether we should use same ubuntu OS versions for host pc and agx. what I mean is, if we have ubuntu 20.04 in host pc and ubuntu 18.04 in agx then while cross compiling would there be any issue?.

Could you please respond as we need to configure our host pc.We need to inform our IT team regarding appropriate version of ubuntu.

Hi, @nithin.m1

Both DRIVE OS 5.2.6 and DRIVE Software 10 have Ubuntu 18.04.
The information is in “Release Properties” and “DRIVE OS Release Information” sections of their release notes respectively ( DRIVE OS 5.2.6 Release Notes (PDF) and DRIVE Software 10.0 Release Notes (PDF)).

Both host systems need Ubuntu 18.04.
The information is in Getting Started: DRIVE OS 5.2.6 :: DRIVE Platform Installation Guide with NVIDIA SDK Manager and https://docs.nvidia.com/drive/drive_os_5.1.6.1L/drive-qsg/get-started-drive-software/index.html#system-requirements respectively.

Hi @VickNV,

Thanks for the reply,

Currently is there any higher versions of Drive OS /Drive software which is compatible with ubuntu 20.04? or in future any versions NVIDIA planning to release?

No, currently the last supported version is Ubuntu 18.04.
Ubuntu 20.04 support will be in Orin release.
