Ubuntu + wayland + 495.44 problems

Greetings, I switched to Wayland via the plasma-workspace-wayland package on Ubuntu 18.04. However, my vulkan programs stopped working.

  • glxinfo only shows the secondary Intel GPU, not the Nvidia GPU
  • vulkaninfo terminates with a ERROR_INITIALIZATION_FAILED error
  • nvidia-smi shows the Quadro M1000M GPU with driver 495.44.
