All , this my first time using the Jetson Board . I don’t have access to directly plug the board into the router so I followed the instructions to make my PC which running ubuntu 14.04 act as a router while connecting my host-pc to the board .All went well and the connection was established but still it didn’t seem to have any and i can’t even ping the device . So what do you think i have missed ?
Your best bet is to check the serial console, the 9-pin D-sub connector. Settings are 115200 8N1. If you don’t have a way to connect that 9-pin to your host, you can use something like this serial UART plus a short NULL-modem cable (in combination with a serial port program like minicom, gtkterm, or PuTTY):
