Unable to connect Drive Orin via Router using Automotive Ethernet Port

I am using NVIDIA Drive Orin with Drive OS version as 6.0.6. I am using Automotive Ethernet port and after that a NIC Adapter to convert it to normal ethernet.

I have already configured static IP in both the devices.

When i am connecting Drive Orin (Automotive Ethernet) with another device via ethernet, then the ping happens, but whereas instead of directly connecting directly, Drive Orin and another device are interfaced through router, then the ping does not happen, So, requesting to kindly support in this regards.

Attached is the Architecture Diagram for better explanation

[ I have tried to replace Drive Orin with another embedded device, and the ping happens, so the router configuration is not an issue, Also the router is of 300 Mbps speed.

The ping works with Drive Orin also if we replace Automotive Ethernet port with normal ethernet port such as (eqos_0) ]

Dear @arpit.agarkar,
Could you share the steps followed to configure static IP and router configuration?

I am using Netplan to configure Static IP on my Drive Orin, I am attaching an image showing the configuration of yaml file in /etc/netplan and then I am doing sudo netplan apply.

Regarding Router Configuration, I have just resetted the router and directly connecting the ethernet ports (of 2 devices) to the 2 output ports of the Router.

Dear @arpit.agarkar,
Could you check making dhcp setting as no in the provided yaml file and see if it helps to fix the issue.
If it does not fiz could you share the static IP configuration setup steps on host as well.

I have tried changing dhcp setting as no in both Drive Orin and my other device. But still 1-1 ping happens, but with router ping is not happening.

On my other device also, i have configured static ip via netplan itself. The only difference is that, the assigned IP is 192.168.1.200

And regarding the router, it has been resetted and is in the default configuration and the ping works through router when I connect RJ45 ethernet cable to port such as eqos_0

Dear @arpit.agarkar ,
Do you have ethernet switch for quick test to see if it works.
