Unable to detect second GPU Ubuntu 20.04

Hello,

I have been building a custom setup for Deep Learning and my specs are as follows:

CPU: ryzen 7 3700x
GPU: RTX 2070 Super + GT 710
Motherboard: Asus Prime X570 Pro
PSU: 750 W
RAM: 2 * 32 Gb

I want to use the GT 710 for display the RTX 2070 to run deep learning models.
I installed the 440 driver.

The command sudo lspci |grep -i VGA outputs:

08:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation TU104 [GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER] (rev a1)
09:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GK208B [GeForce GT 710] (rev a1)

the command nvidia-smi only detects the GT 710 card (also, the system hangs up for 5s when executing this command).

I ran nvidia-bug-report.sh and the result is attached.

Could anyone please help me out?

if you unplug your 710, does the 2070 GPU work by itself?

It used to work properly but stopped working correctly a week ago, with some occasional freezes. Till yesterday, these freezes were rare but since this morning, I don’t manage to pass the grub with the RTX 2070 plugged to the screen. I had to plug the 710 to start the computer.
