Unable to downgrade Jetson Orin Nano from Jetpack 6, results in boot loop

I flashed a Jetson Orin Nano with Jetpack 6 using the SDK Manager to see if I could fix an issue I was having with Pytorch and CUDA. The issue didn’t work, and I wanted to downgrade the Jetson back to Jetpack 5.1.2. However, I am unable to flash the Jetson with any Jetpack version than 6.0 If I try to flash an SD card using Etcher, the device enters a boot loop where it will display the NVIDIA boot screen, turn off, and repeat. If I try to flash it using the SDK Manager it will either display the boot shell and give an error about mount partitions being inaccessible, or result in the previously described boot loop behavior. Furthermore, even after flashing the device from the SDK manager with Jetpack 5.1.2, the boot screen shows a firmware version of 36.3.0, which I’m fairly certain represents the L4T build associated with Jetpack 6.0 I’ve experienced this behavior on two different Orin Nanos with multiple micro SD cards, so I’m not really sure what I’m doing wrong here.

This should not be possible.
Please put the flashing log here.
