Hello, I wanted to download the external driver for Nvidia rtx 3070 mobile, but the software says “No additional drivers found”, then I went for downloading the drivers manually but now it says
“nvidia-smi
NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn’t communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.”
I have tried all the solutions available on the internet, also went through previous Topics but nothing’s working…please help.

I have the same issue. I managed to fix it by uninstalling virtualbox and then install Nvidia drivers and dkms.
