Unable to launch CUDA installation: "Log file not open. Segmentation fault"

Hello,

I am trying to install CUDA 10.1 or 10.2 on a Debian 10 server without success. And I didn’t obtain any information other than “Log file not open. Segmentation fault”.

I downloaded the run files and executed:

sh cuda_10.1.105_418.39_linux.run

or

sh cuda_10.2.89_440.33.01_linux.run

Both gave me the same above error.

Could you please help me?
