I’m having problems getting the NSight Tegra debugger to work. I freshly installed it yesterday after not having looked at it since January. It used to work perfectly but now I’m getting an error that my debugger is not properly installed if I try to run any of the sample projects.
I’m currently using Visual Studio 2015 update 3. I did a fresh install using the Codeworks for Android 1R6 installation tool. I installed the standard packages. The NSight Tegra plugin I’ve installed is currently at version 3.4.16231.3325 which for as far as I can tell is the newest version.
After installing I first got a different error message “Unable to start debugging” that I fixed by cleaning the MEF cache as described here https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/748392/nsight-tegra-visual-studio-error-message-quot-unable-to-start-debugging-quot-/.
I’m still new to Shield and Android developent in general. I also don’t know very well how the debugger or Visual Studio work under the hood.
I’d really appreciate any help I can get to resolve this problem.
