upgradation to cuda 6 from cuda 4.1

Hello all,
I use cuda 4.1 currently in my gpu machine. I understand that cuda 6 is in vogue and would like to migrate. Can I simply download the latest version and replace 4.1 or is there anything I should really take care of??
