So, This problem has been going on for a while now and it’s starting to drive me nuts… With a USB keyboard and mouse attached (Logitech Unifying Dongle) I notice that my keyboard and mouse cut out from time to time.
This does it just enough to drive me insane, and has persisted through OS flashes.
Does anyone know what this is? Or is my board defective?
I doubt it is a defect, though it might be a wireless limitation. To start with, if you monitor dmesg (on newer releases you can run “dmesg --follow”…you might have to just periodically type “dmesg | tail -n 50” or similar if not a newer release), you might see information related to the drop-out. Is any info given that way?
This probably won’t change anything, but might still be useful information. If you use a powered USB HUB, and connect the dongle to the powered HUB, does the issue continue?
