Looking for USD assets of small plants. Ideally with modeled leaves, stems, ideally with some color and texture. I’ve been working on building some using blender and exporting them in USD format, but it is quite involved and would prefer to use an existing model if possible.
@walt.j.white i remember there is an asset browser extension that comprises more than a handful amount of built-in assets. it’s been a minute since i last used it, but you could perhaps start there:
if you are looking for something more specific, there are 3rd party vendors who sell plant models. not all vendors have included USD assets; but, you can always convert them as you see fit. here are a few that popped into my mind: Cgtrader, Turbosquid, etc.

Yes @walt.j.white @Simplychenable is correct is saying that the extension you are looking for is the Nvidia Asset Browser. Simple turn it on in the Extension Manager if you do not have it on already. There you will find many great assets including plants. If you fail to find what you need exactly, as he also suggested correctly, you can find some really great assets for purchase on www.turbosquid.com
thank you, did didn’t see @simplychenable’s full response when I responded originally, only the very first part of that message was present. I have gone through the asset browser and don’t see any plant models specifically. I’ll look into the turbosquid option too. Thanks to both of you.
just to add, the vegetation contents within the asset browser can also be downloaded from the following link if you don’t have it in NVIDIA Assets browser for some reason:
