Use massflash with empty QSPI

I have a question regarding the massflash related question on the empty QSPI in the forum.

Generate Images and flash from another host for production (on new boards)

Hi, I’m using Orin NX on a custom carrier board. I generate the images on my host and flash its internal qspi and external nvme with initrd. I need a method to send these images to another host in order to flash many other targets that comes empty (out of the factory) . I tried using the backup&restore tool but its not working well for empty new targets (that havent been flashed at least once before) What is my best option here? According to the forum answer, since an empty QSPI cannot enter initrd, massflash referring to l4t_initrd_flash.sh cannot be used.
Then, it seems that flash.sh is the only way to flash an empty QSPI during mass production.
I have some questions in this situation.

1. If the image for massflash is prepared, is it possible to use massflash in an empty QSPI state?
   (I am using jetson R36.3.0)
2. Does flash.sh have a function similar to massflash?
3. If not, is there no other way to flash an empty QSPI one by one using flash.sh during mass production?
   (It takes about 8’30 to flash a QSPI with flash.sh)

Hi,
Certain issues are in Jetpack 5 and fixed in Jetpack 6. It shall be fine to flash empty QSPI through massflash. Please give it a try.
