Using MPU6050 Sensor with Jetson Nano

Hello, I am new to electronics and I want to be able to use an MPU6050 sensor (accelerometer & gyroscope) with the jetson nano. I heard that to use it I would need a level shifter as well as some other stuff. Can someone explain who I would go about using this sensor, or point me to a resource that would help me out?

This is about using a particular sensor, while the other question is about using I2C interface in general. But yeah I guess they are kind of the same. Do you have a solution for both?
