Using SDK Manager (latest) and try to install the latest Jetpack & OS on a Xavier NX 16GB (No-SD card)

Hello,
First time trying to install an OS on my Xavier NX 16GB (No-SD card).
Using SDK Manager (latest) and try to install the latest Jetpack & OS on a Xavier NX 16GB (No-SD card) using a Waveshare JETSON-IO-BASE-B Rev2.

  1. I’ll put the Xavier NX in recovery mode. Using a usb cable to a old Mac (x86 MacBook Pro 2018 with intel arc running ubuntu in parallels with 8GB ram to the VM).
  2. Start the SDK Manager and connect the USB cable. The device is detected.
  3. The problem is that I can’t select any version to install.

How do I install an os on the Xavier NX 16GB (no sd-card slot)? jetpack-5-1-5-l4t-35-6-1 should be just fine.

Thanks in advance, Regards,

Fredrik

Just another screenshot from your scrennshot.

Which ubuntu version are you running there? Looks like didn’t follow the suggestion.

on the host machine (running ubuntu 22.04 in a 8GB VM). The list are suggestions from the SDK Manager.

That one is just where “sdkmanager” itself can run. It does not mean it can flash every Jetson platform.

The lower table is the one you should check.

Thank you very much! Now it’s working! Needed to run 18.04 on the host.
