Is the Forms capability in Visual Studio 2008 C++ with CUDA programming on Windows 7 possible to use? I only need to number crunch through parallel processing while having a friendly user interface through custom forms. I don’t see any way of creating a Forms oriented project through the CUDA_vs_Wizard creation process.
Yes but it’s not necessarily trivial. Forms are a .NET feature and adding a Forms file to your project will turn the whole project to a managed one. You might run into issues there because managed code requires compilation with /MD and CUDA stuff needs to be built with /MT, so some workarounds may be needed.
Thanks Big_Mac_. With the trouble I had getting Visual Studio to work with CUDA in the first place, this scares me.
