We are currently using A16 cards in our VDI environment. Im not sure if this is a new feature or something is off. VCenter console is working to some of our VDIs for some reason. We recently upgraded our VDI Cluster in VCenter to 8U3 and all the Nvidia Drivers as well to Grid Driver Version 16.9. The Guest OS to Driver Version 539.19. Guests were also upgraded from Win10 to 11.
Everything seems to be working. VSphere hosts show the correct profiles and connected. The guest shows its connected to A16 1B and it has received a license from the CLS. But I can console in and see the screen of the user instead or having to use a VNC viewer. Does this mean its not connecting to the passthrough PCI somehow or is this expected behavior?

Did you ever manage to find a solution/reason for this? I am in the same boat. Recently upgraded GRID drivers and rolled Win11. I am seeing that roughly 50% of my vGPU enabled VMs allow web console access while the other 50% does not. I see them both pulling a license so I’m a little lost as to why this is happening all the sudden
