IÔÇÖm trying to visualize the real time data from Velodyne VLP16.

  1. Followed steps from Ros driver blog for network setup through terminal velodyne/Tutorials/Getting Started with the Velodyne VLP16 - ROS Wiki
  2. Trying to execute the lidar replay sample from driveworks sdk DriveWorks SDK Reference: Lidar Replay Sample

Not able to visualize any data.

I can see the file on my target. Could you share dpkg -l | grep driveworks

I am able to visualize the sample data using sample_lidar_relay without passing any arguments. but i want to visualize the real time lidar stream

Could you check if Launching the velodyne lidar VLP16 is getting failed, this is while it is working with ROS - #10 by user158496 helps?

I notice driveworks-data package is not installed on target. You can find the debians at /drive/extra/driveworks on DRIVE OS 6.0.8.1 docker containers.

Any guide to install /drive/extra/driveworks in target from host docker. can you please share?

You can copy the debians to target using scp and install them on target. If you want driveworks sample data, you need to install just driveworks data debian.
