Hi Community member,
Please let me confirm the following question.
Do you know any way to verify the written image with using Flash.sh?
We would like to confirm whether the written image is the match with image on host machine.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Do you mean the image that is used as kernel image or the system.img?
Yes, your understanding is correct!
No, #2 was a question for you.
I sorry for my wrong answer. I means the all file which flash script was flashed to Jetson. So, it is included the kernel image and system.img and dtb and so son.
Sorry that currently we don’t have such function.
Thank you for your response. I understand your situation but we hope to prepare such a function. In generally, all most vender like memory or MCU vender provides the verification tools to confirm the written contents after flashing .So, please add your plan to support it if possible.
If you just wish to confirm the root filesystem (rootfs) image, then you could take the checksum of “bootloader/system.img.raw”. Then clone the system, which produces both the “.img.raw” and “.img” files, followed by a checksum of the “img.raw”. The two checksums should match if the Jetson has never booted after the flash (which might be difficult since after a flash reboot is automatic).
