Video Editing w/ o w/o GPU enabled NVIDIA

Hello I need help, I have the Geforce GTX 860M with the latest 376.33 driver update.

I am running windows 8.1, 64bit alongside and Intel i7.

I am editing video clips in Adobe Premiere Pro and an action of moving a clip from one sequence to another causes a crash.

The windows event viewer says the crash is due to a
“Faulting module name: MSVCR100.dll, version: 10.0.40219.1”
I understand this is a driver that relates to the Adobe system, but I have tried everything to try and fix this. More precise info on my efforts can be found in the links below:

As well as in the Intel forum (no link).

If anyone has any more thoughts, tips or useful solutions I would be very grateful,
THANKS!
