I’m using the Jetson Orin Nano on a drone for video processing and want to transmit this video to base station using the RF, is there any way to do that ?
if not the what might be the alternative ?
Moving from IVA/General.
I can’t answer, I have no specific hardware suggestion. However, some thoughts on the topic.
The answer might depend on what country you are in due to regulatory reasons. The answer also would depend on bandwidth required, and so you’d have to specify things like camera frame rate, color depth, and resolution. You also must include other details such as whether you will be in line of sight, and distance.
Something like a cellular modem is expensive, and low bandwidth, but it is somewhat reliable and very long range is possible. Other commercial bands for dedicated digital data transmission without special licensing exists when below a certain power, but that in part depends where you are located. A simple Wi-Fi connection might be ok for reasonably close data even at a wide bandwidth, and be relatively inexpensive.
So to get a better answer than what I can give you might provide those details.
