visual profiler cannot record memory bandwidth

For nvidia nvprof developer user guide: Profiler :: CUDA Toolkit Documentation

We can see a picture below 2.4.2. Analysis View for Visual Profiler, including “Perform Memory Bandwidth Analysis”

button. However, when I installed Visual Profiler for Ubuntu18.04, I used cuda toolkit 10.1 to install Visual

Profiler, and I cannot find the “Perform Memory Bandwidth Analysis” button. Why ?

Do you meet any error when lunching the remote session?
And have you login the ssh as root?
