Is there documentation on what is provided by the Gateway license for the SX6036. We have one in production running IB but only 8 ports and would like to use some of the remaining for 40GB Ethernet.
Thanks,
Todd

In case you own the below Mellanox Ethernet Switches (or newer):
It is also applicable for the VPI switches running in Gateway or Ethernet switch mode:

Hello,
How to actually get the license? - have two switches that we bought to use as a backup to the aging one for ur HPC cluster. Note that we’d need only eth 56Gbs mode.
Regards,
Krzysztof
Hi, Todd,
This is an IB switch, If you want use part of port as Ethernet port.
You need a VPI license.
But I don’t know we still sell this license, you need check with sales team.
Thanks,
Suo
