We need the heat source size of a 2-resistor model for thermal simulation

The θjb value is provided for simulation of the Jetson AGX Xavier module as a 2-resistor model in commercial CFD packages. While the heat source size of a 2-resistor model is unknown, and the heat sink‘s thermal performance (𝜃𝑝a ) depends on it.

In the thermal design guide.
We provided θjp=0.35c/w for balanced workload(most use cases) and θjp=0.6c/w for unbalanced workload, θjb=5.5c/w.

We‘ve seen the thermal design guide. But as we know, the thermal resistance of thermal solution is related to the heat source size of a 2-resistor model.
Is it 100 X 87mm or 75 X 73mm?(heat source size of a 2-resistor model)

The TTP size is 100mm87mm, The HS_TIM size between heat-sink(thermal solution) and TTP is 75mm73mm

  1. Yes, Software can set to 30w or maxN mode, and threshold will change accordingly
  2. The threshold can be changed in software, but it is not recommended.
