What does 2,800images/sec means for PX2?

Hi guys

I’m new novice to drive PX2. I don’t know how to understand the specs that drive PX2 is able to recognize 2,800images/sec using AlexNet. Does it mean the AlexNet forward processing time is around 1/2800 = 0.3ms? What configuration should I use to reach this number?

Hi Steve, Thanks for your reply. The 2800 images/sec is from GTC conference where Jen-Hsun Huang announced the NVIDIA Drive PX2. Please refer to the image attached below.
