I’m confused by naming of SW/HW productions from NV. There are many many names, and one of most confusing is
AGX. It’s in / not in some product names. Such as in Self-Driving Car Hardware | NVIDIA Drive
I also searched it but got nothing.
So, what does AGX stand for? Can I ignore it? If yes, why NV naming it everywhere?
From Jetson Download Center | NVIDIA Developer
The AGX is the naming for Tegra chips, since Xavier, and the Orin is the next generation.
It is just like GeForce we used for DeskTop GPU.
So, as in Jetson AGX Orin, Jetson Orin, Jetson AGX Orin NX, and Jeson Orin NX, which one is correct and which one is wrong?
In general, Jetson AGX Orin and Jetson Orin NX are correct.
You can refer to the Technical Specifications from Jetson Modules | NVIDIA Developer
