What does it mean "early" at tegra_early_boot_defconfig

Hi, I have a question about what does it mean “early” at kernel tegra_early_boot_defconfig which is in sources/kernel/kernl4.9/arch/arm64/configs.

Does it mean “fast boot”?

if not, what does it mean?
this is not a critical question but it makes me confused.

Hi lcj3722,

This defconfig is not for L4T to use. Those setting has nothing to do with the release from jetpack.
