What does it mean that my MT25204 adapter has an PSID like this: SM_2001000001 (not starting with MT_)?

I find no references to PSID values starting with characters other than MT_.

I have a Cray CX1 with CN5400 blades. Is this an OEM number for Cray or their OEM? In any case, how do I verify that I have the latest firmware for my hardware?

SM_… would probably mean this card was re-branded by SuperMicro

for latest FW you should touch base with SuperMicro support.
