I’ve run a number of examples with Jetson inference. But I don’t know what this means.
- What does ms mean by speed or time taken?
- Is the larger the number, the better or the smaller the number?
ms means “milliseconds” - the time taken in milliseconds. The framerate is 1000 / ms
The smaller the time taken in ms/milliseconds, the better. Note that if you just run a single image with imagenet-console, it will take longer the first run for the Jetson’s clocks to spin up. It’s recommended for profiling, to run jetson_clocks scripts beforehand or to try the camera application.
Thank you for your answers. That picture is divided into CPU and CUDA. Does the CPU and CUDA run together? Or is this the time when the CPU and CUDA were running separately?
