What "fast_enable_write: Failed to get cpuidle driver" means?

Hi,

I got the message “fast_enable_write: Failed to get cpuidle driver” in the kernel log, how do I troubleshoot it?

Thanks.

Hi acessonegato,

Please let us know how you see the message on the developer kit. Or you can take a look at fast_enable_show() in drivers/soc/tegra/pm-tegra210.c to see what your change may cause it.

Yes is the developer kit 28.1, I have already checked the pm-tegra210.c in order to understand the message

Update: running cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpuidle/current_driver returns none, so that’s it.

Update: running cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpuidle/current_driver returns none, so that’s it.
I can get “arm_idle” as below with 28.1/DevKit.
Could you provide the detailed steps to get the message?

nvidia@tegra-ubuntu:~$ cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpuidle/current_driver
arm_idle

Sorry, it is logged in the kernel log, so is part of dmesg.

Does is matter if is none?
