What is a "699-level part number"? Are there major differences between M.2 and L.3?

I have two jetson orin nano modules, one of which has a 699-level part number of “699-13767-0003-300 M.2” and the other one has “699-13767-0003-300 L.3”.

Are there any major differences between the two modules? It seems that the L.3 backup is not compatible with the M.2 backup.

Hi, both should be same. What do you mean “It seems that the L.3 backup is not compatible with the M.2 backup”?

Do beware that only the o/s goes on SD card. The rest is on QSPI memory on the module itself. The o/s portion must be compatible with the non-o/s boot content. Perhaps a failure is caused by the non-o/s portions differing. You’d need to flash the actual module to the same content before being able to conclude whether an SD card is causing a difference.
