What is the DataPath.hpp.in file?

I have dependency to this file : DataPath.hpp ,
I found the file in this location: /usr/local/driveworks-2.2/samples/src/frameworks/
But it has a .in extension (DataPath.hpp.in) ,
Is this expected,
Am I expected to do some config here?
