What is the future of 390.x driver in context of 4.4.168+ kernels?

This question doubles a post from https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/1046451/linux/linux-4-4-168-and-nvidia-linux-x86_64-410-93-and-get_user_pages-/ because:

 1. That post explicitly states 410.x driver in its title
 2. It has an answer accepted by the topic starter
 3. The question about the backports was asked there after that https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/1046451/linux/linux-4-4-168-and-nvidia-linux-x86_64-410-93-and-get_user_pages-/post/5312512/#5312512
 4. Reports about the problem happening with older driver versions kept adding since then and no additional feedback was posted for two weeks already

Are there updates for the 390.x driver going to be released, as stated here: https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/1032650/linux/unix-graphics-feature-deprecation-schedule/ ?

If the answer to above question is positive, is there a timeline for that?

I’m just making sure this isn’t being overlooked because the other forum thread I’ve referred above is marked as solved.
