What is the meanning of bwmgr ?

Hi everyone:
Our kernel randomly crashed, most of the time there is no backtrace infomation. the kernel log as folllows:

[ 910.832322] bwmgr: clk_set_rate failed for freq 18446744073709551506 Hz with errno -22
[ 911.836349] sdhci-tegra 3460000.sdhci: clock enable is failed, ret: -110

[0000.285] I> Default Heap @ [0xd486400 - 0xd488400]
We want to know the meanning of bwmgr, does is means band width manager?
What causes the kernel to crash when the printed message appears?

Hi liukejob,

Yes, bwmgr stands for bandwidth manager. May I know how do you see this error? Why MB2 log is after kernel log?

Hi WayneWWW:
Thank you very much for your reply. we are facing the problem https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/1045426/kernel-randomly-iabt-error/#5305503.
We have a pcie device tw6869 and we have tested two kinds of tw686x drivers, but the kernel still randomly crashed. sometimes there are some back trace information give by the kernel. But most of the time when the kernel print
“bwmgr: clk_set_rate failed for freq 18446744073709551506 Hz with errno -22” the cpu hangs and reboot without any back trace information, so the “Welcome to MB2(TBoot-BPMP)(version: 01.00.160913-t186-M-00.00-mobile-f4c42291)” print out by uboot.
Could you give us some ideas to debug this thank you very much!

It looks abnormal to request such clock rate. Could you check if your driver requests a invalid value or does not request any value?
